Employers should be aware that on 1 April 2021, the government is increasing both the National Minimum and National Living Wage rates.
From 1 April 2021, National Minimum Wages and National Living Wage Rates will increase as follows:

Previous Rate: £8.72 Rate from April 2021: £8.91

Previous Rate: £8.20 Rate from April 2021: £8.36

Previous Rate: £6.45 Rate from April 2021: £6.56

16–17 Year-Old Rate:
Previous Rate: £4.55 Rate from April 2021: £4.62
